Experience with new tool Galletto v54 BDM-TriCore

What FGTECH galletto v54 BDM-TriCore can do?

According to some customers’ test, Galletto v54 can work with the following engine types.

I tested BDM Delphi crd 2.61 with Jtag edc16 can, its work ok.

DCM 1.2 clio with BGA st10F280 work perfect.

Test on truck, bosch 6.2 Works daf, scania and test on volvo renault trw lucas ecu, also work.

Working very nicely for PCR2.1, I Made a 2012 Audi A1 1.6 TDI for dpf remove and tuning job, procedure is simple. Need unlock first by tricore and then read/write by OBD.

edc17cp14 vag with boot mode and work perfectly! Read write is okay! Now i have immo off solution for EDC17.

Tried on edc16c39 Alfa 159 , doesn’t work by OBD.

BDM OK , tried on 4 ECU Bosch.

EDC17 passat 2.0tdi 2008, read and write ok by OBD.

EDC17 bmw320d 2008, ra ad write by OBD ok

EC17c46, mb classe b 180cdi 2009, tricore read an write, ok also.

I test sid804 ford with OBD work good!

KTAG VS FGTech Galletto V54

A: Sorry, at present it still can not do this function, it just can read and write ECU data.

Q: Can Fgtech V53 update directly to Fgtech Galletto 4? and use Fgtech Galletto 4 software?
A: Sorry, it can not update directly. If you want fgtech v54, you need to buy new fgtech.

Q: Can Fgtech V54 do this ecu Bosch EDC16 BMW(P3)?
A: Yes, it can do.

Q: Can I buy laptop together, and you install it for me ready to use?
A:  Yes it’s ok, you can buy FGTech V54 together with Dell D630 laptop.

What’s the difference btw FGTech Galletto V54 and V53

The world-wide popular ECU chip tuning tool, FGTech Galletto has been upgraded to the newest version. The latest one at present is FGTECH galletto v54. These two versions are different in 3 ways.

Recently, FGTECH galletto v54 become very popular among the ECU programmer technicians, many technicians order it and chat their experience in forums. After reading their posts, I find most users concern about the following questions:

1) Operating system
Galletto V54 can works well with windows xp, vista, win7, which has been verified by many users. When you run with windows XP, disconnect all network, disable all anti-virus software and firewall.  While Galletto V53 only works with windows xp.
